The Neos Marmaras Beach
The Neos Marmaras beach doesn’t get a lot of notice, but it comes with a ‘Blue Flag’ rating and will probably surprise you that it really is a good beach! Located south of town this beach continues on and eventually joins with the Porto Carras beach.
There is good organization with beach bars and restaurants that have put up sun-beds and umbrellas. What could be better that tanning on your lounger and just walking a few meters for a gyros or a larger meal and then get right back to work… or rest. There are even public toilets and change booths.
The beach is a good sandy beach. The sea bottom is also sand and the water is shallow. With trees lining the promenade you can even get natural shade.
